Founder & Executive Partner

Dr. Barco, as the inventor of Curvetime Blockchain Framework for AI Compuation, is now the founder of Curvetime Funds. He is an entrepreneur and expert in AI and IoT industry with 15+ years of experience in IT industry and high-tech investment. He is serving as directors of various high-tech companies, including Dasudian Technologies, MS Tech, Sunxess Energy. Barco served as an advisor for Sunwoda, ESCAP Sustainable Business Network, Asia Development Bank (ADB) and China IIoT Alliance, awarded Innovation Person of the Year 2016, 2017 by Guangdong Industrial Association. Barco is the member of IEEE, Germany-China Association of AI, ITP New Zealand, ESCAP Sustainable Business Network (UNs ESBN), Future Investment Initiative, speaker of the UNs, OECD, WTO, FII etc. Barco held B.S and M.S. degree in EE from HUST, and PhD in Computer Sci. from Heidelberg University.

Friedrich Piëch

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Friedrich has 20+ years of experience in Direct Investments in PE & VC including deal origination, closing and exit. Friedrich served as Executive Director of Piëch Family Office, director of JKT VC division of a Private Office and Partner of a $500 million Venture Capital fund. He Experienced in PE/VC structuring and deals, negotiating with C-levels and Founders, with 15+ years of experience in Management & Development of profit centers with +400 employees. Friedrich held various roles in financial corporations, as the Family Office Director of Kivvi Group, Executive Director of Avega Ltd, Partner of Elanga Africa, Independent Director & Audit Committee Member of Reservoir Capital Corporation , and Advisory Board Member of Tigertail technologies Ltd. He held MBA from Yale School of Management and Bachelor's Degree from UCL London.

Dr. Ana is a distinguished investor in the biotechnology sector, bringing a wealth of scientific expertise in chemical biology, drug discovery, and bioengineering. With a proven track record in identifying and nurturing opportunities within biotechnologies and medical innovations, she is adept at translating scientific breakthroughs into impactful investments. Dr. Ana holds a B.A. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Harvard University. Her doctoral research was pivotal in developing novel treatments for antibiotic-resistant and antibiotic-tolerant bacteria, a critical area of focus in the fight against superbugs. Ana's work is characterized by its highly collaborative and interdisciplinary nature, bridging small molecule screening, mechanistic studies, and machine learning.

Eric is a proven asset manager and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in financial and risk due diligence, PE/VC deal structuring, and buy/sell-side M&A in diversified industry. He served as Executive Director of Allega Pte Ltd, an JKT VC division of a Private Office and Partner of a $500 million Venture Capital fund. Eric held various roles in Capital Markets, such as associate of Institutional Trading at JMDN Private Equity. As the General Partner at Avega Asset Management LLC, he empowers and invests in Eastern Asian startups with the goal of developing innovation ecosystems and uplifting underserved populations in emerging markets. He held a MBA from University of UC Berkeley, and Bachelor's Degree in Economics from The University of Indonesia.
